I figured you all would like a look at Molly first off. Adorable, ain't she? She's also very nonchalant about the fact she is NOT supposed to be on the table. Probably because she knows who really runs the household. (Hint: It ain't me)
Anyway, I spent this weekend with my friend, Athena, (everyone say hi) down in Rochester, WA where she competed in a barrel race. Saturday was beautiful; Sunday, not so much. I was hoping to get some video, but the weather decided to be ornery, so I guess I'll have to settle for the few pics I snapped instead. I thought you all would enjoy them, so here they are.
The rest are some shots taken today, before the rain canceled the rest of the day.
And one final shot of the jackass who decided to park and block my line of sight. That made me ornery. Dumb jackhole.

Molly is adorable! Does she like cuddles?
When you said Athena was competing in a barrel race I wasnt't thinking about horse / barrell racing. Actually I didn't have a clue what you were talking about. I was thinking barrell over a waterfall. Until I saw the horse. Then it all made sense. I was having a blonde moment.
I love afternoon summer storms. They used to happen nearly every summer afternoon in the school holidays (between Christmas and end of January) when I was a kid.
Molly is insatiable when it comes to cuddles. I have to warn you. She's not de-clawed and tends to clutch on to you like you're gonna drop her. It doesn't hurt, just feels like little pricks. Plus, she likes to stand up when you're holding her. She won't lay there. It's hard to explain, but you'll see in November.
Like I said over yonder on your blog, I can count on one hand how many thunderstorms I've seen since leaving Ohio. I luuuurve thunderstorms, but I was so disappointed when they called the race off because of it. I was planning on posting Athena racing. Oh well, next time.
Hi Athena! Give my regards to your papa, Zeus. I kidd. Loooove the name.
I wish I had horse-riding talents.
Molly is cute.
Ornery is a fine word.
